On 5 April 2024, Shell Energy Retail Pty Ltd (ACN 126 175 460) applied for a licence to wholesale electricity under section 18 of the Electricity Industry Act 2000.

Consultations on the licence application closed on 2 May 2024.  We did not receive any submissions.

We granted the licence on 14 May 2024.
