Our proposed update to the Statement of Regulatory ApproachWe are updating the Statement of Regulatory Approach following recent amendments to the Port of Melbourne pricing order. The amendments set out a new role for the Essential Services Commission in assessing upfront (ex-ante) project proposals from the Port of Melbourne for major projects. We have updated the statement and published a consultation paper which explains our proposed approach to our new ex-ante review role.
