New VEU Registry system: March update

The new VEU Registry system is taking shape, to support the evolving needs of the VEU program and improve the user experience.

Important dates for the new VEU Registry

We are pleased to announce the new system will be launched on Tuesday, 3 June 2025.

The current VEU Registry will be switched to read-only mode for one week prior to the launch, while data is migrated from the current Registry to the new system to enable the launch.

From midday on Friday, 23 May 2025 to 9am on Tuesday, 3 June 2025, VEU Registry users will not be able to submit any new activities, applications, forms, project updates, and request for transfers or surrenders.

During this week, we will continue to manually process items already submitted to the VEU Registry prior to midday on Friday, 23 May 2025.

Preparing for the launch

With the launch in June and noting the one-week shutdown and expected delays, we recommend all account holders are well informed and well prepared by:

• Ensuring contact details are up to date in the current system.
• Monitor all correspondence from the VEU for key updates.
• Bookmark the new VEU Registry system project website page to stay up to date with the latest updates about the new system.
• Submit activities applications and updates into the current system as early as possible.
