Essential stories: Chris from the Price Monitoring and Regulation team
22 January 2024
I'm a Project Manager in the Price Monitoring and Regulation team at the commission.
I've been here since 2010, so I've seen a lot of changes and a lot of people come and go. I can confidently say that it's never been better than it is today. The commission is an organisation where good people work hard to uphold the welfare of Victorian consumers. I'm proud to work for an organisation that cares for its people and is committed to seeing them flourish.
I'm actually a chemical and environmental engineer and spent 20 years in the industry so it's been great to tackle regulation from both sides. I really enjoy bringing my practical experience to the role, and helping my colleagues understand the operational aspects of the water businesses we regulate.
Outside of the commission, I’ve spent many years studying the practical application of philosophy, including mindfulness, meditation and other spiritual practices but I still enjoy a good evening on the couch watching TV with my family!
