Energy compliance pathways and actions
Overview
We use a range of regulatory tools to determine compliance pathways and actions where a licensee potentially contravenes Victoria’s energy laws. We use our Compliance and Enforcement Policy to inform these actions. We also assess each contravention reported to us against our current compliance and enforcement priorities.
The following dashboard outlines the compliance actions we have taken since 2021-22. We may update these numbers if future information arises that reflects the need to update data.
How to use this dashboard:
The dashboard is easiest to view in full screen. Click the 'Full Screen Mode' icon at the bottom right of the dashboard.
- Select electricity or gas or both to filter the data you want to see in the top of the dashboard
- Select the financial year for the data you want to see in the top of the dashboard
- To clear your selection, click the 'Reset All Filter' button in the top right of the dashboard
- To navigate between the pages, use the front and back arrow buttons in the top right of the dashboard
To access a close-up view for each chart:
- hover over the chart and click the 'Focus mode' icon that appears at the top right corner of that chart
- return to the front and back tab of the dashboard by clicking the 'Arrows' in the top right of the window.
